Maybe he wan`t just to be your friend but maybe not. But he`s the only one who can answer your question. And maybe he`s just too shy to ask you to hang out so if you really want to hang out with him just ask him i`m sure he`ll go with you. And when he ask you to go to the church just go with him it`s the way he want to ask you going out. Maybe he`s just afraid of asking some question because you might be angry to him so just try to understand him maybe someday he`ll have the strength to tell you everything that he want to ask you.
