Question about website rank in google search results..?

My companies website was coming up at the top of the page when searching "hardwood floors minneapolis" on google. For some reason it is not poping up until page 4 now. Any idea why? Also, I notice next to my website name in the search reults their is an arrow pointing up that says promote and when I click on it, it brings my site to page 1, does this charge me? Is it temporary? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
