Is hurricane Jimena going to bombard California or somewhere else in the Southwest?

No. The current models predict that Jimena will stay in Mexico for a little while longer, and then it will move back out into the Pacific. There appears to be no threat to the west coast or the southwest at this point. It would be nice if Jimena went to California and dumped a lot of rain to help put out the wildfires.
