My xbox 360 was stolen!?

Last night a new friend of mine which i trusted ped out drunk in my roomates bed (2 BR apt.) and me and him and our buddy went to the casino, when we came back my 360 was gone. im 18 hes 23, he wont answer my phone calls and i texted him "wheres my ****" and hes like i would never steal from u there was 2 black dudes in ur hall smokin a blunt... im like yea right! He sells oxycontin, so in a week im gonna set it up to jack him i think, or i could go to the police im just so mad i dont know what to do!!!!!
