Nova Scotia - When can I plant my veg seedlings outside?

It's still a little early for most of the things you want to grow. I would start with onions, peas, lettuce, radishes, and carrots in the next week or two and then toward the end of May, plant the rest. You will do better to plant seedlings for the cabbage, cauliflower, canteloupe, peppers and squash. Corn should be okay if you plant it in the next couple of weeks as well. If you anticipate a late season frost after you have seedlings coming up, cover the seedlings with laundry baskets or newspapers or even a bed sheet overnight.
