Whats wrong with my tooth, what can i do?

My left second to front tooth is swelling up and is turning redish-pink. It hurts when i touch right bellow my nose, where my tooth continues. This happened a year ago, they said it was an impacted tooth but that only happens with wisdom teeth. They ended up cutting my mouth open and draining it and giving me anti-biotics. that was pretty far along that the tooth hurt. Now its only been 2 day what can i do to fix it at home?
