to be honest unless you are looking to go to a top uni its the grades which matter. if you want to do psychology at uni as long as you have an a level in that and the necessary points you will get in. my advice is to choose the most enjoyable subjects and the ones you are best at.

I don't really know why people say that, but I'm all for it. Am I wrong about my current view on religion as an former aspiring priest?

I am not going to state which religion, because I don't want comments or any kind discriminatory rhetoric; its simply not important. I use to be an aspiring priest but now I slowly grew away from it. It partly had to do with my current attendance in college, I am 21. I needed to focus on school instead of chasing priesthood at such a young age. I found that when we had religious gatherings, it was composed of people gossiping and such. I found that a significant amount of "religious" people erted themselves into everyone's life and various other occurances happen to make me this way. My current is that I still strongly believe in god and so forth just in the sanctity of my home. I don't attend much religious functions. I strongly against the prejudice against ity and abortion. My view is I just dont care. I just dont care about the bickering side chatter. I believe in god and thats all. I dont need the side dressing so to say.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant now. When I was going through the implantation stage I felt all of the above. I don't have morning sickness though because I'm one of the lucky ones! But I did spot and I did get cramps. They aren't menstraul cramps though, they are called implantation cramps. They should go away about your 6 week of pregnancy. It doesn't always take a week or so for your hormones to make you puke and stuff. It all depends on your body. I hope I can be of some help to you.

I would like to lay vinyl tiles over my existing laminate flooring. Removing the existing laminate would not be a good option as it is strongly bonded to the wood subfloor below. I'm taking a humanities course, so I'd want a laptop that can handle a lot of research, note-taking and piles of information. I also need it to be lightweight but sturdy, so that it can handle being lugged around all day. Wierd experience Please Read??

Back when i was about 15 I was dating this boy for about a year. It was an abusive relationship and was very quickly getting worse and often times he had threatened to kill me/shoot me/ push me down the stairs/ anything to cause harm. About 1 month before our break up weird things started to happen. First it began with my cellphone. One day i tried calling him and my phone screen to just went white and made a static noise. I tried calling my house phone to see if it was just my phone but the call went through no problem. I tried calling once again my boyfriend number and the same thing happened. White screen and a static noise that seemed to be put on speaker phone. I thought it HAD to be my phone so i took out my sim card and put it in an old phone and called the house phone again. And everything was normal. Then i tried calling my boyfriend. SAME THING. White screen. White noise. I thought that it was a little weird and something gave me the feeling of protection. About a week later after that incident i was sleeping in my room and in all of the rooms in my house had a fire alarm/smoke detector. I was woken up my the fire alarm in my room going off. Extremely loud. No smoke. I looked at the clock and it was 3:00 am. It woke up my parents and i walked down the hallway and realized it was only the alarm in my room going on. I though i might have left my hair straightener on or something with heat but i checked and nothing. I pushed the reset on with a broom and went back to bed. The same thing happened 5 days in a row. Same time. 3:04 am. 3: 01 am. 3:06 am. For five days. I was getting the feeling it meant something. The night that it stopped i had a dream. It was weird. It was me asking what the alarms meant. If they had a meaning. And Some sort of indian or indian tribe told me it did have a meaning and that it meant to be very careful of what im doing. And to stay safe. I woke up and that was all i could think about. The first thing i could thing of that was unsafe was my abusive boyfriend. I didn't tell him of these things happening. That weekend me and my family were heading up to Lake Tahoe at the heavenly resort for a weekend stay. We were on one of the top floors and we were settling in to get ready for bed and i had been desperately trying to get a hold of my boyfriend. I must have called him 15 times. When i was leaving a voice message on his voice mail the alarm on our floor went off. It was extremely loud and was recorded on the voice mail. I hung up as the alarm continued and a handy man had come up to our floor and said that there was a malfunction. After they got the alarms to stop my boyfriend had finally called me. He had nothing nice to say and i ended up crying in the hotel hallway. He had told me we weren't together and that he was with someone else last night. After loads of crying he said he would give me another chance. So i felt relieved and was able to go to bed that night. The alarm had went off on our floor probably a good 6 or 7 more times that night. After the weekend was over and i had got back home me and my boyfriend broke up a few days later. And all of this unexplained behavior had stopped completely. I am now 19 years old and do not speak to him. But still these events go unexplained. Sorry this is so long. This is the first time sharing this to others who might have experienced something similar. If you have please respond. Or if you have an idea who or what or if this was to protect me or if you have and comments please respond. Thank You.

i slightly tore my meniscus and acl about 2.5 years ago. Doc said it was slight so probably wont need surgery. So yesterday, i am playing basketball i am running and my leg gets tangled with someones leg and i fall straight to my bad knee and it bent and twisted a little bit(like when little kids sit on their knees.) Kyle Bush is a good driver but tends to have a excuse for every thing that goes wrong .It's never his fault. Blaming the intake manifold is a childish excuse . Depression, Self Loathing, Self Injury?

I know, its a cheery topic. For the last year, I have been struggling with depression. But here is what is odd, and what I wonder if anyone else can help me make sense of: I feel more depressed while and directly after I am around family, friends, or peers. By the time we part, I feel like crying. I have burned myself a few times and am afraid of creating a permanent habit. It doesn't seem to matter who I am around, it always makes me feel un-empowered, ugly, and overlooked. It always seems like people expect me to be a certain way or they withdraw all respect or kindness. It's like my life is theirs rather than mine. But the only time they notice me is when I take a step towards the edge of the box they have built for me. And in comparison to them, I am worthless- I have a bad personality, I am not attractive, and I have nothing to offer. The worst part of it is, I am a Christian. I am struggling, but I truly want my life to belong to Christ.

I had a graco one at first and she hated it! she would scream and scream so I went and exchanged it for the fisher price rain forest one and she loved it! I think she didn't like the back and forth motion. After we got the rainforest we found out she loved the side to side motion and then when she got older we would change it to the back and forth and she would like it. We would try to mix it up but she usually liked the side to side motion a lot better. So many of my friends said that the graco is fine but I wish I would have gone with my instinct and chose the side to side motion in the first place instead of wasting time and hoping she would get used to it... but it all worked out in the end. Definitely get the fisher price rainforest swing and what's really great about it is you don't to use batteries you can plug it in. I have not bought one pack of batteries for it...thank goodness I have to buy too many of other types of batteries for her toys..lol.

You should probably build it out of something a little more sturdy if you plan on keeping it around. Feral cats are wild.. they do what they want. They aren't the same as a "stray" cat which happened to wander out of someone's house. Ferals haven't had any human socialization.. nor do they want it. It's like seeing a squirrel in the yard, basically. I know you're trying to help them out, but they're smart and know what they're doing for the most part. You can't force them into the home you built, but putting food inside will usually draw them in. What you should be doing is buying a humane trap and taking them to a local lost-cost spay/neuter clinic so that they'll stop having kittens! We need to slow down the animal population.. the shelters are overcrowded. After they're fixed, release them back out where you found them.

I grew up in a small Church of Christ congregation and held to those beliefs until college. Attending a Baptist based college opened my eyes to many other doctrinal beliefs. Corporate world-related drama. Need advice please!?

I am on a committee that meets every year to discuss programs that our company is going to roll out for the next year (meaning product combinations that will be advertised). I attend this meeting every year, however this year I am not being allowed to attend because my boss and his boss will conveniently be at the out-of-town location for another meeting, so they plan on extending their stay and representing our company at the meeting. Well, this upsets me because I am the one who is on the committee and works with the comittee on the programs. Not to mention the fact that all my boss would have to pay for is airfare...the OTHER company pays for everything else. There isn't a lot of room at my company to move "up", so things like this keep me motivated to stay in this job. Not letting me go to the meeting is like a slap in the face and makes me question what I'm doing here. Anyway, my question is...am I over-reacting? How should I handle this? Yes there are the convenient reasons for living in the city, but in the country side there are health benefits, which a lot of people don't always account for. Recent studies prove that heart issues and complications are directly related to living in a congested city with the stress and pollution. In the country side there are no health risks that can greatly affect and harm your heart. In the city, it's dangerous, crowded, stressful, polluted, crime rates are higher, there's food everywhere you turn and car traffic. In the country side you can find peace, quiet, soothing environments, less pollution, smaller communities that build better relationships with one another. In Japan, the country is built on small communities and people in Japan live longer then any other group of people in the world, and many scientist link the Japanese people living so long to the tight knit communities, which is what on can find in the country side. These are the reasons I would live in the country or the mountains and not in a big city like New York or London.

Dyed it a medium brown but it came out dark red. Used a corrective color over it so now its like a dark burgundy brown. I regret doing it at all. I shouldve just had the blonde redone. I had my test yesterday for gestational diabetes (am 28 wks). I had to fast from 10pm & got first bloods taken at 8am, then had to drink a jug of lucozade glucose drink & get re tested 2 hours later. By time i left hospital i felt so sick & dizzy. Stopped off at my mums to eat as i was afraid to continue driving & the food helped a little but the strangest thing was i was crying on/off all day for no reason at all. Okay.. Here's my story. I have been seeing a fertility doctor and this past cycle we did insemination. I had 2 good follicles and a 3rd that was close. We did insemination two days in a row. I got a very early faint positive pregnancy test on cycle day 26. On cycle day 28 I had a positive blood test with an HCG of 39. They repeated the blood test two days later (cycle day 30) and my level was 24.5. I was told I was going to miscarry and to watch for bleeding. They said they needed to follow my numbers back down. I went in 5 days later (cycle day 35) and my HCG level was a 4. I was told I would start my period within a week. Well things got busy and I forgot about it. I have had consistent cramping feelings for the past 3 weeks or so (to the point where I would wear a pad thinking my period was going to start at any time) but no other symptoms. I finally called the doctors office telling them that I hadn't had a period and they wanted to check my HCG again. Well... 18 days later (cycle day 53) my HCG level was 638!!!!!! What the heck does that mean?? I did look back and from the date that my HCG was a 4 to the date that it was 638 was 18 days between and then the doubling rate from the 4 to 638 was every 2.5 days which is within normal. Is is possible that I had the vanishing twin syndrome? or maybe released the third follicle later and got pregnant on my own? Anyone else have successful stories of drop and then rise of HCG? I do go in on Monday for another blood draw and ultrasound to see if they see anything. I had totally accepted the miscarriage and am scared to get excited but what does this mean?? Technically I am pregnant?!?!

Polk db212 Subwoofer Enclosure?

I take your point in the nature that it was presented. There are a few scientists who spend more time in the criticism of the beliefs of others than in actual science. I am not very familiar with the work of Mr Dawkins, so I cannot comment on that specifically. However, it is also true that the vast majority of scientists labor in political silence. And if you seek a partisan agenda, surely you need look no further than Mr Stein, who insists on misinterpreting whatever few sentences of science text he has ever read. I suspect that there are rather blatant political mouthpieces on both sides of the political issue. The discussion that results has about as much to do with actual science as it has to do with actual religion. The only real problems occur when one side attempts to speak for the other, i.e. by forcing scientists to teach about creationism or by forcing churches to teach about evolution. Neither of these political positions makes any sense. Each discipline should be able to stand on its own merits and see what results in terms of an active following, without descending into doentaries and name calling - which just inspires opposing doentaries and name calling.

I couldn't find seventh generation laundry detergent at Target the other day so I bought green works instead. They both got the laundry clean. This really doesn't seem to be anything that you should worry about. I mean I have my moments in which I don't really want for weeks or months at a time. It's not that I am not attracted to my girl. we has a rabbit who died 3-4 years ago. The outdoor hutch has not been used since. We now have 2 new bunnies 4 1/2 months old. It's still a little early for most of the things you want to grow. I would start with onions, peas, lettuce, radishes, and carrots in the next week or two and then toward the end of May, plant the rest. You will do better to plant seedlings for the cabbage, cauliflower, canteloupe, peppers and squash. Corn should be okay if you plant it in the next couple of weeks as well. If you anticipate a late season frost after you have seedlings coming up, cover the seedlings with laundry baskets or newspapers or even a bed sheet overnight.
